Questions people ask

Is PlainWatts an energy company?

No. We don't sell energy or install anything. We build calculators and explain the numbers.

Where do your figures come from?

Prices come from the Ofgem price cap. Grants come from GOV.UK and Ofgem. See Methodology and sources.

Do I have to give my email to see savings?

No. You see your estimate first. We only ask for details if you want quotes.

How accurate is the estimate?

It's an estimate, not a quote. Your roof, usage and tariff will change the real figure.
